Laycie was a little under the weather for a few days. Nothing big, just a high fever. As a whole, it's always a bummer when your kids are sick, but there is definitely one aspect we LOVE as parents--they are so cuddly! Unfortunately this time I had to keep turning down Laycie's requests to be held; there is just not enough room on my lap anymore. So, after being turned away multiple times she quickly became attached at the hip (or lap actually) to Lance and he was perfectly okay with that! I got a cute pic of her as she fell asleep on him while he was on the phone with one of his students (Lance gave them their finals this week, and they are all a little stressed!).
