It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We got snow on Christmas Eve and it was magical for the kids! It wasn't a lot, and didn't stick for Christmas Day, but it was fun while it lasted. We had such a perfect holiday weekend!

In the morning we did a ton of baking and cooking. The kids made Santa's cookies. Masen even helped and decorated his own for St. Nick--I hope he like sprinkles!

My kids always LOVE getting their traditional pjs and blankets from Grandma Cheney. Laycie got a bit stuck putting hers on, but it was definitely the highlight of the night.

We all watched The Nativity and talked about the birth of the Savior. Masen was folding his arms and they were all so reverent during it.

Finally Lance read the traditional 'Twas The Night Before Christmas' Book and it was off to bed!

The kids had, I think, their favorite Christmas year. They had been very good all year and Santa was proud of them. Masen got his robot, Andersin his DS games, and Laycie an IXL. These actually are the only pics we got on Christmas Day, we were just too busy playing!

This is Laycie sportin' her Quick Gems (this little gadget that puts gems in your hair)--it's pretty much all she's asked for all year and she looks like a rockstar :o)
