Allredge Apple Farm

Our playgroup went to an apple orchard, so I thought we'd pack up and take Laycie and Masen out. I feel bad doing fun outting while Andersin is in Kindergarten, so we just don't tell him about our little adventures. Don't spill the beans! We took a hay ride and had a little lesson on honeybees--I even got chosen to play the role as the queen bee (please hold your applause). They kids got to see some real honeybees while they were there.

They had all sorts of the standard small farms animals; goats (I know, we've seen a lot of goats lately), chickens, and a pony! It was a guided tour and we had a good turn out with kids from our ward. If only fall could last longer!

Laycie enjoyed feeding the chickens...Masen enjoyed pointing at them.

They got to each pick a few apples (they were like $3 a pound!!) and had a lot of fun doing it!
