Cheney Reunion - 4th of July fun

The last day of the reunion was the 4th of July. We went to the Kaysville parade for most of the morning/afternoon. It was actually a lot of fun. My dad blew up some balloons for the kids and sent us off with cotton candy and snacks.

We got some pretty good seats on this little hill, then got even better seats right up against the road. We had a little while to wait for the parade to come, so the kids kept themselves busy playing. We thought we'd coordinate a fun little game of hide and seek with the kids to pass the time. We quickly realized that asking 7 small children to hide from their parents in a huge crowd probably wasn't the smartest idea. So, instead Lance hid and they looked for him.

My kids had never been to a parade and they freaked out every time a float went by that was throwing candy (which was pretty much all of them).
