The Cheney Reunion--Part 3

Each night we had a big family event. One night we had a really great Family Home Evening with everyone; which I don't really have any pictures of--it wasn't really the picture taking atmostphere. But then one of the nights we had a big Un-birthday Party, since my mom doesn't get to see all their b-days. Each grandkid drew another's name and bought either a garage-sale or D.I. gift for them. It was really fun and Andersin's gift actually proved to be pretty amazing. We packed it up and it is still a huge hit. Also, you'll notice in the pictures a small change of venue for the opening of the presents, right in the middle my parents sprinkler system kicked it--it made for an intense moment when everyone quickly debated whether to pick-up and run with the babies--or the presents. You'll notice Masen is a bit wetter than the rest :o)

Afterwards, we had a drawing for some 'man-gifts'. My Uncle Danny (the most generous, sweetest person I've ever been lucky enough to know) donated a bunch of tools that his construction company no longer needed. Lance came home with a grinder (?)--he was excited for it, so I'm assuming it's cool--and a few other things.

We had a carnival where each family was in charge of coming up with thier own booth of games the kids rotated to. My kids won the grand prize in Plinko which was a big theatre style popcorn popper--so rad. We took it home with us for sure!

The last big event we had was a FIESTA!! Complete with a pinata and a mexican hat dance lesson. My mom hand made all of the kids' costumes--don't we look like the coolest mexican family ever?!
